Renée graduated from l’Université de Moncton where she obtained her Bachelor in Kinesiology. She completed her Masters Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2011.
Renée was born and raised in Rothesay, New-Brunswick. Her Acadian roots give her a strong sense of community and she believes that a personable approach is the only way to connect and understand people. She hopes to transfer this way of life in her practice.
Through her different work-related experiences and continuing education courses, Renée has developed a specific niche for more complex musculoskeletal conditions. Her caseload ranges from elite athletes to grand-parents wanting to stay active to keep up with their grandchildren. Renée believes that Knowledge is Power. Teaching and educating patients is fundamental to empowering them to understand the root of their problem and consequently, create change. She also believes that it is possible to heal through movement and that there is the right type of exercise for everyone. No patient is too challenging for her!
Renée’s has a fond interest for health and wellness. Since becoming a mom, she has created a work life balance for herself and her family. She enjoys being active, whether it’s through her daily walks with her four-legged fur baby, cycling, jogging, golfing or weight training. She also enjoys learning about nutrition and enjoys her time in the kitchen.
