Sheryl graduated with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.
Sheryl has had the opportunity to work in hospital and private clinic settings in several parts of Canada, as well as, in France and England. Most of her experience has been in sports and orthopaedics, but early in her career she developed a strong interest in finding ways to help clients with chronic/reoccurring symptoms and with difficult and/or multiple conditions. For 18 years, she has focused her studies and practice on Osteopathic treatment methods. She effectively integrates CranioSacral therapy, Myofascial Release and Visceral Manipulation treatment techniques to offer a hands-on, holistic approach. This approach takes into consideration the body as a whole and how widespread restrictions in the soft tissue system can contribute to the persistence of injuries/conditions. She is very passionate about her work, so she continues to study and enjoys sharing knowledge. Yoga training in Hawaii and teaching assistant positions for CranioiSacral therapy courses are her newest projects.
Sheryl has lived in Orleans, Ontario, for 14 years, focusing on her home-based clinic and raising her 3 kids. With her kids needing her less, she is excited to bring her skills out of her home by joining the Moveo team. Sheryl loves laughter, sunshine and a variety of sports.
