Isabelle was born in Northern New Brunswick, and brought her Eastern charm to Ontario to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa. Fuelled by a thirst for life, she never stops learning. She has completed a wide range of postgraduate courses: Level 3 Manual Therapy from the Orthopedic Division of the CPA, Gunn IMS certification, acupuncture, running injury prevention, concussion treatment and management, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), among others.
Through education and practice, she has gained a solid expertise in musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine and prevention of overuse injuries. She has been part of the University of Ottawa Health Services team since 2003, where she spent over a decade working with the Gee-Gees. Her main passion is sports, and she continues to serve varsity athletes through her practice.
Her motto: success in recovery goes beyond the physical realm. She takes time to explore other influencing factors with clients as part of their complete pain management strategy. She strives to keep individuals of all ages active by using a comprehensive treatment approach that combines hands-on interventions and functional movements.
For Isabelle, life is all about playing sports, hiking, running, cycling, and seizing every opportunity to be in the great outdoors.
