Vivian attended the University of Ottawa where she obtained her Honours Bachelor in Health Science in 2017 and went on to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy.

Vivian further developed her clinical experience in a variety of settings including private orthopedics, hospital intensive care unit, as well as long term rehabilitation. She has had the opportunity to develop her skills with populations of all ages while working in geriatric and pediatric rehabilitation alike.

Vivian completed her orthopedic manual and manipulative therapy level 1 and plans to pursue her education in manual therapy. She has also acquired her McKenzie level A and is a certified Graston Technique Provider ®.

Vivian is passionate about helping her patients reach their goals by empowering them with the tools they need to succeed and guiding them through their progress.

Raised in Orleans, Vivian looks forward to providing bilingual care for her community at Moveo. In her free time, Vivian likes to stay active, cook, and plan her next travel destination.

Karine graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science in 2011. She went on to complete her Masters of Physiotherapy at Queen’s University in 2013.

Karine was born and raised in Ottawa. She is bilingual in both French and English.

Karine has a special interest in trauma related injuries and her focus is to treat the body as a whole through myofascial release, cranio-sacral therapy and visceral manipulation.

When she is not working with her human clients, Karine is also following her passion by treating canine clients outside of Moveo.

Chelsy Martin

Chelsy graduated top of her class from the University of Ottawa where she obtained her honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics. She completed her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at McGill University.

While completing her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy, Chelsy further developed her in depth knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology. She possesses clinical experience in a variety of settings including private orthopaedics, hospital emergency and inpatient orthopaedics departments, as well as neurological physiotherapy.

Chelsy completed her orthopedic manual and manipulative therapy level 1 and is looking forward to continuing her education in manual therapy. She emphasizes a treatment approach that is hands-on and empowers patients to actively participate in their recovery through individualized home exercise programs. Her ultimate goal is to help patients return to the activities they enjoy while preventing injury reoccurrence.

Chelsy was born and raised in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. In her spare time, she stays active through resistance training, as well as playing soccer, softball, and basketball.

Andrea studied her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University before returning home to work in a busy sports medicine environment at the University of Ottawa Physiotherapy Clinic for 3 years. This experience along with her love for sport and physical activity encouraged Andrea to pursue her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, UK. Here she completed an independent thesis related to patient recovery following total knee replacement.

Andrea is passionate about helping her patients reach their goals. Her treatment approach emphasizes movement re-education, strengthening, mobility and manual therapy techniques. She has taken post-graduate courses in Sports First Aid which she applies to fieldwork with various sports teams, acupuncture, and Kinesio taping.

Andrea is an Ottawa native who grew up playing competitive ringette from a young age. In her free time she enjoys running, road biking in Gatineau Park and resistance training.

Sheryl graduated with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy.

Sheryl has had the opportunity to work in hospital and private clinic settings in several parts of Canada, as well as, in France and England. Most of her experience has been in sports and orthopaedics, but early in her career she developed a strong interest in finding ways to help clients with chronic/reoccurring symptoms and with difficult and/or multiple conditions. For 18 years, she has focused her studies and practice on Osteopathic treatment methods. She effectively integrates CranioSacral therapy, Myofascial Release and Visceral Manipulation treatment techniques to offer a hands-on, holistic approach. This approach takes into consideration the body as a whole and how widespread restrictions in the soft tissue system can contribute to the persistence of injuries/conditions. She is very passionate about her work, so she continues to study and enjoys sharing knowledge. Yin yoga and leading study groups for her peers are her newest projects.

Sheryl has lived in Orleans, Ontario, for 14 years, focusing on her home-based clinic and raising her 3 kids. With her kids needing her less, she is excited to bring her skills out of her home by joining the Moveo team. Sheryl loves laughter, sunshine and a variety of sports.

Barb graduated from the University of Guelph in 1995 where she obtained an Honor’s Bachelor of Science in Hunan Kinetics. She completed her diploma in Massage Therapy in 1997 at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and became registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in 1997.

Barb is dedicated to ensuring each patient she works with is cared for with the treatment plan, time and dedication required to assist him or her in achieving their treatment goals. When treating, Barb believes in looking at the person as whole and working with the patient to address the root of the problem rather than just treating the symptoms. Renée graduated from l’Université de Moncton where she obtained her Bachelor in Kinesiology. She completed her Masters Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2011.

Renée began her career in the Eastern Townships of Quebec in a private clinic, providing care for a variety of orthopedic patients. She also acquired experience working in a private college, overseeing sports coverage and coordinating athlete care in hockey, rugby and soccer. She has recently returned to the National Capital Region where she is excited to begin a new venture.

Renée was born and raised in Rothesay, New-Brunswick. Her Acadian roots give her a strong sense of community and hopes to transfer this way of life in her new practice. Claire graduated from University of Ottawa where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Physiotherapy in 1996.

Claire began her career in the state of Massachusetts in the United States where she worked in a Rehabilitation Center. She focused on inpatient care of clients with joint replacements, stroke victims and other post traumatic injuries. She continued on to working in a hospital outpatient setting where she focused her work mostly with clients requiring orthopaedic care. She returned to her home town of Ottawa in 1999 to pursue her career in the private clinic setting. Since then she has been working in the field or orthopaedics.

Claire acquired her FCAMPT designation in 2010. This extensive training allowed her gain valuable knowledge in the field of orthopaedics.

Claire was born and raised in Orléans, Ontario. She was raised as a franco-ontarian and has a strong connection with her community. She continues to call Orleans home where she and her husband are raising two great kids. She is active in the community mainly through her children’s sports activities where she volunteers her time. In her free time, Claire enjoys running, outdoors activities, and playing soccer.
